The Geospatial Professional Network (GPN) Mid-Atlantic Chapter (formerly MACURISA) is a volunteer professional organization with a longstanding reputation for providing quality educational programs to the Mid-Atlantic GIS community. For our first half-day virtual event of 2025, GPN MAC will welcome speakers to participate in Enhanced Elevation - Innovative Ways Drones Are Being Used In the Region.
This webinar will explore the transformative role drones are playing in supporting operations across public and private sectors. In this session, we will review the latest applications of drone technology, from airspace management, climate resilience planning, AEC project delivery, and emergency response. Experts will share insights on how drones are being effectively integrated into common workflows and discuss how best management practices and advanced technologies are being used to support drone management in a regulated environment.
