Web GIS: Where Is It Now?

Agenda

The Internet of Things has started a revolution with the use of web-enabled devices as part of our everyday lives.  GIS has joined the revolution as well, coining the phrase Web GIS.  The Internet is full of geography-based technologies and Web GIS has become a household entity without notice in both the workplace and society.

This full-day seminar will focus on current Web GIS technology trends, best practices, and case studies presented by leading technology experts and everyday users.  This seminar intends to identify current technology, explore trends and gain first-hand experiences from local implementations of Web GIS.  Attendees will be able to take these lessons learned back to their organizations and empower their decision makers and knowledge workers through the deployment of Web GIS.

Registration fee is $25 and includes a light breakfast and networking lunch.
